Since 1967 the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Valley has served youth in the Salt Lake Valley ages 3-18. In 2008, They reached over 44,000 youth through various programs and activities facilitated by the Club. They are a Boys & Girls Club, the Positive Place for Kids, They are one of 4,000 Boys & Girls Clubs in the Nation serving youth and teens everyday, each year.

The purpose of Boys & Girls Clubs of South Valley is to promote the social, educational, health, leadership, and character development of boys and girls during critical periods of their growth. Boys & Girls Clubs serves youth primarily in the south end of the Salt Lake Valley. Boys & Girls Clubs is charged with deepening their impact on the youth they serve by helping youth develop the attitudes, skills, values, and behaviors that will enable them to succeed in life.
