Network Inc
Network, Inc. was founded in 1991. It is a non-profit agency incorporated in Connecticut serving the developmentally disabled under contractual agreement with the Department of Mental Retardation. Network, Inc. upholds the principle that individuals with disabilities have a right to enjoy the same life experiences as other community members. Network has a 15 member Board of Directors comprised of family members, professionals from the communities and other interested individuals.
Network, Inc. promotes the rights of people with disabilities, provides a forum for the exchange of skills and information regarding disability issues, and promotes a positive image of those they serve. They have been successful in providing the needed support that allows individuals to achieve their maximum independence. Their services are both vocational and residential and are designed around the abilities and needs of the individuals they have been asked to serve.
